Manchester's THE PERPS release new single 'The Clique' on 19th May, out on Bread & Butter Records

Manchester-based indie/alt rock band, The Perps, are set to unveil their latest single, "The Clique" on May 19th. This release marks a significant moment for the band, as it comes on the heels of a remarkable year filled with achievements and recognition.
 
The track will be available through Golden Robot Records and Bread and Butter Records, ensuring a global reach for their loyal fanbase.
 
Formed in 2018, The Perps quickly established themselves as a notable force within the indie and alternative rock scene. With a series of independent releases, including 7 singles, the band's EP titled W.A.L.K gained critical acclaim upon its release in September 2021, solidifying their reputation as emerging talents.

In 2022, The Perps experienced a meteoric rise, marked by significant milestones and accolades. Their single "Wake Up On Saturday" garnered attention from esteemed radio stations such as Amazing Radio and XS Manchester, with notable figures like Jim Salveson describing it as a "big tune" during his evening show. The track even received praise from Begbie himself, Robert Carlyle, who hailed it as "a top tune and a banger."

Undoubtedly, the band's most remarkable accomplishment of 2022 was being selected as official Glastonbury Emerging Talent finalists for 2023. From a pool of thousands of talented applicants worldwide, The Perps emerged as one of the 30 acts invited to perform a live showcase at Glastonbury. 

Now, with the impending release of "The Clique", The Perps aim to further propel their musical journey. The single serves as a captivating preview of their upcoming EP, set to be released later this year.
