Described by Louder than War Magazine as having a Cocteau Twins’ other worldliness, Manchester’s Big Cat Chic merge genres from funk to psych to grunge, blending the dark and the glamorous in order to deliver a hard hitting, punk-inspired cocktail that’s as heady as it is their own.

With numerous shows already under their belt, but with no recorded material available online, the band aren’t quite flying under the radar, but they are still very much one of the city’s best kept secrets.

All that looks set to change however, as the four-piece are gearing up to release their debut single ‘Grey Eyes’. Groove-laden and ‘70s inspired, it harbours a timeless air whilst showcasing vocalist Eliza White’s effortless vocals.

Though just the first taste of Big Cat Chic, the four-piece have shows booked across their native Manchester over the coming months, so expect to see much more of them soon.

Big Cat Chic are:

Eliza Waite - Vocals

Sam Brunt - Guitar, Vocals

Lucas Hookings - Bass

Jamal Lewis-Service - Drums
