Lauren Ann releases new single "Other stuff"
Northern Irish alt indie-pop artist, Lauren Ann, having just performed at SXSW, announces the release of her latest single "Other stuff" on March 17th, The song is a positive track that reflects on the importance of relationships over material possessions. It's about overcoming anxieties and realizing that the company of loved ones is more important than anything else.
"Other stuff" is the latest addition to Lauren Ann's impressive discography, which includes the singles "Don't Take It Out On Me," "How It Works," "Angel Eyes," and "Blatant." Lauren Ann's music is a fiery mix of grunge dynamics, garage rock exuberance, and a hooky pop edge. With not much else to do, Lauren started writing songs, and her debut single "Don't Take It Out On Me" was recorded at home on GarageBand. In a short time, she has amassed a following of fans and critical acclaim. Her music has been recognized by BBC Radio Ulster / ATL Introducing and the new music bible Nialler9, who included her in their list of the best new Irish artists.
With "Other stuff," Lauren Ann continues to establish herself as one of Ireland's most exciting new talents. Her upward trajectory includes performances at Ireland Music Week 2021, high-profile support slots with New Dad and upcoming ones with SPRINTS. She is set to perform at the Stendhal Festival, and her debut EP is set for release soon.
