Mosquito Control Music aka “MCM” is a heavy electric dance music project inspired by the all night party clubs of the late 1980’s when turntables were King! In Southern Louisiana, “The Kingfish” was the place and DJ’s only spun vinyl!

While recalling the DJ’s playlist of 1989 dancing to Egyptian Lover, New Order, The Cult than The Cure; co-producers, Tim Ganard and Bruce Bouillet set out to create their own brand of high-energy songs that captured the spirit of these styles in a new way.

Using no keyboards, MCM has united 808 breakbeat drum tracks with heavy guitar and bass riffs to emulate overdriven synthesizers. This foundation is then layered with syncopated guitar effects and hypnotically charged melodies. The result is a nostalgic revolution in modern alternative dance music.
