Rising Brighton-based, hyper-pop influenced, alt.metal duo Lake Malice today release ‘Blossom’ (Bobby Wolfgang Remix), which is an eclectic DnB reimagining of the band’s very first release. Bobby Wolfgang injects their signature influences of punk, hardcore and jungle to create a fresh new spin on the fan favourite. Lake Malice’s Alice Guala and Blake Cornwall say: “We’ve always wanted to work with Bobby - they put so much attention to detail into their production. When we got the first mix, we knew we needed it in our live set so we’ve been playing it throughout our UK headlines this month to give fans an early teaser.” The original track appears on last year’s debut ‘Post-Genesis’ EP which is out now via SO Recordings.

Lake Malice have also announced a tour with Germany’s Blackout Problems across the UK and Europe in October / November, which comes off the back of an incendiary inaugural UK headline tour and a plethora of massive supports and festival performances throughout 2023. They shared the stage with acts like As Everything Unfolds, Bloodywood, Skindred, Vukovi, Vended and Enter Shikari, whilst also captivating crowds at festivals such as The Great Escape, Download, Misery Loves Company and 2000trees, at which Kerrang! proclaimed they “have no right to be burning this hot already.”

With their recent single ‘Eternal December’, Lake Malice were featured in Metal Hammer’s Tracks of The Week and the Kerrang! Chart, as well as getting spun on BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock, Future Alternative and Kerrang! Radio Fresh Blood.
