LA Indie Songstress Jordan Gruver Shares Debut Album "Until I’m Old News"

(July 19, 2024) - Jordan Gruver, an Arizona-born singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist based in the vibrant music scene of Los Angeles, CA, releases her debut album Until I’m Old News. Her music fuses dynamic yet familiar melodies set to a

musical convergence of folk, pop, and jazz. Jordan’s warm, soulful vocals and delicate lyrical storytelling pair with playful piano melodies to create a uniquely authentic sound that makes you feel a sense of home. Featuring ten original tracks, the album Until I’m Old News was recorded live in just four days at the renowned Rancho De La Luna 

recording studio in Joshua Tree, California. 

Gruver shares about how the album came to fruition: “We recorded the album at the Rancho De La Luna studio in Joshua Tree, California, in September of 2022. I was very adamant about wanting to record the album live in the room together. We tracked ten songs in four days and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The album is a snapshot into my early twenties after moving to LA. It’s about self-exploration – growing up and growing out of an older version of myself, learning who I am, who I want to be, and making tons of mistakes along the way. I’m extremely proud of how we were able to meld different genres together while still maintaining this cohesive vibe and storyline throughout the album. The overall sound is really a combination of the diverse influences of all the musicians who played on it. I think that’s what makes it sound so unique.”
