SUMMER TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

German techno band Klangphonics have released alive videofor their new single ‘Shapes In The Spray’ out now via Alaula Music.

The video has been filmed at their recent headline show at Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg and captures the captivating Klangphonics performance, which seamlessly blends live instrumentation and production to an intoxicating effect that ripples through the capacity crowd.

‘Shapes In The Spray’is a dark propulsive track with hard-hitting techno beats, live guitar and Boris Brejcha inspired bass. This is combined with stunning vocal samples from both a choir as well as spoken word from prolific philosophical writer Alan Watts.

Regarding ‘Shapes In The Spray’ producer and guitarist Maxl Walmsley Pledl says,“I love fat sounding bass lines and aggressive synths, but I also wanted to create an atmosphere which could sound more delicate and emotional at the same time.”

Klangphonics have also just gone viral with an intriguing out-the-box take on techno production, creating a hard-hitting dancefloor track‘Feeling Pressure’using a pressure washer and dustbin, achieving over 50 million views.

It’s not the first time the trio have set the internet ablaze, with their emergence in 2020, Klangphonics were unable to tour their intelligent live crafting of house and techno music and took to social media instead.

Creating both expansive visual productions alongside humorous videos, which incorporated the likes of rubber ducks, vacuum cleaners and more, they have built an impressive online following that includes the likes of Ben Böhmer, Pete Townshend and Robin Schulz, while they have also received co-signs from the likes of Boris Brejcha and Victor Ruiz.

Now able to tour, their impassioned fanbase are turning out in droves to Klangphonics astounding live shows. They have announced a number of shows throughout 2023 across Europe including Noisily Festival in the UK in July with more dates to be announced soon.
