Kaizers Orchestra releases ‘Greatest Hits’ album ahead of European tour

Kaizers Orchestra are today proud to release their ‘Greatest Hits’ album. The band have gathered what they consider to be the essence of their musical existence with 22 tracks in the new ‘Greatest Hits’ release.
“We are very excited to play shows in Europe again! For all of our fans, old and new, we are happy to gather some of our Greatest Hits in remastered edition, all in one release. Hopefully the audience can get to know some songs we are sure to play on our European tour this spring. The best shows are the ones where band and audience unify and sing in norwegian together! Say hallelujah!” - explains Janove Ottesen (lead vocals) and Geir Zahl (guitar).
‘Greatest Hits’ from Kaizers Orchestra is the band’s third release in 2023 after the announcement of their comeback tour came in late 2022. The band recently released and critically acclaimed new single ‘Dine Gamle Dager Er Nå’ will be the only new release featured on the Greatest Hits album.
‘Hjerteknuser’ has been the band's most popular song since its release in 2010, and in September 2022 it managed to climb all the way to the top of the Spotify charts in Norway after going viral on TikTok. To some ‘Hjerteknuser’ is their first encounter with Kaizers Orchestra, for others it’s just one part of a very solid catalogue of eight studio recorded albums released between 2001 and 2012.
Through the 22 songs listeners will get a condensed, yet vivid picture of Kaizers Orchestra’s charismatic musical universe: the best of 11 years of Kaizerrock.

Kaizers Orchestra are currently in the midst of their anticipated comeback tour on home soil in Norway. Playing to 82,000 people over 56 sold out shows in four months. In the spring of 2024, the Norwegian rock band will embark on a huge tour playing iconic venues in the biggest cities across Europe. Full details are below:
