Johnny Nasty Boots Drops "Lovers (On the Road)" Ahead of His First European Tour!
Johnny Nasty Boots, the Los Angeles, California-based rock artist and producer originally from Mexico City, releases Lovers (On the Road) after a successful year.
Known for being a modern representative of the genre, his new single is an ode to the rock and roll lifestyle with fuzz textures that take you into stoner territory with psychedelic vibes. The track was mixed by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age) and recorded by Grammy winner Mark Rains (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) at Echo Park. This new song is a preview of their EP titled Self Portrait, to be released in summer 2025.
Johnny Nasty Boots' music brings the roots of the psychedelic sounds and blues of the 60s and 70s to the present day, creating an energetic and modern rock n' roll sound. Some of his milestones for 2024 include being part of Whisky A Go-Go's 60th anniversary celebrations, sharing the stage with the legendary band Strawberry Alarm Clock, being invited by Faster Pussycat as the opening act for their 30+ show tour around the United States, touring Argentina for the first time, and being the guest opener of Pentagram for their show at Whisky A Go-Go in February 2025.
He is currently preparing what will be his first tour in Europe as the opening act for the legendary Corky Laing of Mountain in May, as well as Canada and Japan for the second half of the year.
