Sundown is an uplifting trip into a magical world where the love you’ve been waiting for appears within a glistening, golden, psychedelic dream.
A time warp to a place where all the things that have held you back slowly start to dissipate and you begin to feel free. With soaring vocals and warm instrumentation, it builds throughout, captivating the listener and immersing them into a whimsical land of joy, love and light.
BIO
Scottish artist Jane Frances Gilbert, blends ethereal, soulful vocals with an eclectic mix of instrumentation; taking influence from the likes of Mazzy Star, Cocteau Twins and Vashti Bunyan.
Jane began her music career in the early 2000’s collaborating with local Jazz/Soul and Hip Hop groups in her hometown of Edinburgh.
In 2014, after a move to the South Coast, she began writing and recording her own music, releasing her self-titled EP at Brighton’s Unitarian Church in Feb 2016.
Jane now works alongside guitarist Rowan Chapman and bass player and producer, Alex Borg. Jane’s last single ‘Floral Haze’ received a glowing review in Shindig magazine - ‘with its soft
soulfulness and flair for the spellbinding the song is covered in
sunlight.’
