Jack Foz releases eagerly anticipated high-octane indie rock anthem ‘Call’

Having received support from the likes of BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and aBreak, Jack Foz  strikes back with his fourth and most hotly anticipated single, Call. With swirling guitar lines,  soaring vocals, and heartfelt lyrics, this high-octane headbanger is set to be a staple on any indie rock lover’s playlists; forget a cup of coffee, let Call be the injection of energy you need to get you  through the week!

Calling England’s capital his home, Jack Foz combines thought-provoking songwriting with a  cheeky London charm. Musically, Call captures the characteristics of naughties indie rock music,  à la The Strokes and Block Party, whilst adding throwback synthesiser tones, and a modern

flare, to produce a sound that is true unique to his artistic vision. Recorded at Tilehouse Studios  (Mike Oldfield), engineered and mixed by Luke Oldfield (The Wytches, Scors, Gypsy Fingers),  and mastered by Pete Maher (U2, The Pixies, Liam Gallagher), Call is yet another Jack Foz track  set to get audiences bouncing, whilst screaming the catchy lyrics at the top of their lungs. Once  again, Jack’s trademark ability to hide feelings of anxiety and apprehension behind major chords  and happy melodies is evident. When asked about the lyrics, Jack said ‘Call captures the moment  after a big argument with a significant other, where both parties are too stubborn to say sorry, but  are waiting for the other to apologise, so they can move on and be friends again. Relationships  can be a complicated beast, and I find capturing little specific moments like these in lyrics, actually  makes for a more relatable song.’

Having played at some of London’s most iconic venues for up and coming musicians, including The Camden Assembly, The O2 Academy Islington and The Grace, Jack has had the opportunity to develop an exciting and engaging live show, that has the ability to get just about anyone on their feet and dancing. Be sure to check out Jack’s socials to get down to a gig; everyone wants to be able to say they saw someone live before they were big!
