TBelly Biography:

TBelly is a solo project for singer and songwriter Russell Keefe. The band's first album, “Dead Men Don’t Pray” was released in 2015. The album got fantastic critical acclaim in the USA, Europe, and the UK. TBelly released his second album, “I Never Want To See Me Again” in October. 2021. Dennis Dunaway, who is the original bass player from the Alice Cooper Group played on the title track. Russell has had a long and varied career in music, both on the road and in the studio.

Having played in many original bands in his early years, Keefe recorded albums and singles for Polygram and United Artists. In 1991, he joined Les Mckeown's legendary Bay City Rollers and toured the world for 16 years. With McKeown, he also played on and wrote songs for two studio albums and a live album recorded in Japan. During that time, he also toured with the British blues/psychedelic band The Pretty Things playing keyboards.

In January 2019, he joined the 70's and 80's iconic rock band Slade, singing lead vocals jointly with bass player John Berry and playing keys along side original guitarist and legend Dave Hill and drummer Alex Bines.

Slade plays gigs all over the UK and Europe. Keefe has also written music for television drama.

Press Quotes:

"These guys are a whole lot closer to the likes of Moreland & Arbuckle, Johnny Sansone, or the Stephen Stills/Kenny Wayne Shepherd/Barry Goldberg supergroup The Rides – although perhaps slightly more polished and diverse even than any of these.”

- BluesPowR Blog

“TBelly make some fine music, but it is their vocal performance that grabs the ear and engages the spirit. Blues songs can compress deep and complex feelings into a few lines, but when they are projected with this kind of power and conviction, they can also open a door into a world of shared experience.”
