Emerging from Birmingham, UK, Death of the Story is a fresh addition to the music scene, blending electronic, new wave, and noise influences into a distinctive sound. The band, comprised of Jim Harley and Dean Morton, draws inspiration from iconic acts such as Fad Gadget, Fat White Family, LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, Hot Chip, Swans, and Death in Vegas.

Their debut single, ‘I’m Vanishing from View’, has arrived with an accompanying music video, now available to watch on YouTube. The track marks their initial foray into a soundscape shaped by drum machines, guitars, and an affinity for quirky, dark, and original music, spanning from pop to industrial.

While Death of the Story maintains a presence on Facebook and Instagram, they emphasise video releases as their primary platform for connecting with audiences.

Stay tuned for more from this innovative duo as they carve out their place in the alternative music landscape.
