Which other bands have influenced your sound?

The sound from our debut album released in 2015 was heavily influenced by classic metalcore bands. As we have matured our influences have become more varied. When we were writing our newest album Slow Burn we were inspired by different corners of music, from rock bands like Tool all the way to pop artists like Taylor Swift.

Do you think it’s harder for women to make it within the metal genre as it’s typically associated with men?

 Yes, it’s harder to be taken seriously and not be thrown in the “female-fronted” box.

You have a striking look, do you think your imagery is important as part of the whole package?

We do? Yes, it’s important but the music is more important.

You’ve just put out a new single NEW HEAVEN, can you tell me about it?

 N E W H E A V E N is often mistaken as a religious song, but it’s more about chasing a high or end goal (whether in a career/hobby etc) and never being satisfied. We just happened to use religious imagery as a veil. We filmed a pretty sweet music video for it in a church setting.

Can you tell me about the new album and how it came about?

“Slow Burn” was released September 8th 2023. It has 13 songs and covers themes like mental illness, relationships, and political/environmental problems. It came about because we wanted to release a second album to the world…

What’s next for the band?

 Touring and showing our new album Slow Burn to as many listeners as possible!
