InRetrospect drop ‘Better Self’ ahead of Download Festival + announce ‘Aggro - The Mixtape’ details + 2 UK release shows

British nu-metal outfit InRetrospect is gearing up to unleash their latest sonic assault with their upcoming single, “BETTER SELF” slated for release on June 11th 2024. This powerhouse track marks the band's third release under the freshly-established UK-based label, Passion Eight Records (Issues, Between You And Me) heralding a new chapter in their career. Alongside the single release, the band also announce the details for their upcoming release ‘AGGRO - THE MIXTAPE’ which will be released on the 6th September 2024.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of genre titans Limp Bizkit and Skindred, InRetrospect has carved a niche for themselves in the music scene with their electrifying fusion of rap and metal. Their unique sound has garnered acclaim from esteemed outlets including BBC Radio 1, Kerrang!, and Metal Hammer, solidifying their status as a force to be reckoned with. The band will play Download Festival 2024 and promise a fun and memorable set!

Better Self is high energy nu-metal chaos, exhibiting a message that losing yourself over choices that you made have resulted in you losing your way. Who’s to say that your better self needs to be a memory, that it has to be forgotten. There’s always a path back on track and it’s down to you to make that change and make it count. Fuck all the noise that people are trying to put you down with, this song is a vital part in our message telling you to reflect on yourself and become better. It’s rude, it’s nasty and it’s in your face.

Liquid Silva says “If you can’t make mistakes in life, you can’t better yourself. Life throws lessons at you that you can choose to learn from. Reflecting on shit is what makes us who we are, and the world forgets to give itself that space to reflect and go, you know what… I fucked up. I’m gonna be better.”

Join the movement, fuck the noise. AGGRO TUNES TO MAKE YOU MOVE
