New EP ‘DROWNING’ drops on March 15th 2024
South England fast paced metalcore band INDEVTH are happy to announce the upcoming release of their new EP ‘DROWNING’. The EP, which deals with mental anguish, hopelessness and feels born out of the grit and grime of a bleak modern Britain will be released on Friday 15th March 2024 and is available to pre-save now via the link HERE. It will feature the bands unrelenting previous single ‘LURK’ and brand-new single ‘NOTHING LEFT’, of which the official music video has also been unveiled today.
INDEVTH vocalist Sam Culverwell explains the concept of the band’s upcoming EP “DROWNING is ultimately all about loss, last year was a hard year, and honestly I spent most of it alone, feeling trapped by a lot of things going on around me I had no control over. And lyrically, honestly I just wanted to write something raw, aggressive and violent that did not give a fuck, And I think we have definitely delivered on that.”
The new single ‘NOTHING LEFT’ has been described by the band as their “heaviest track to date”. Bassist Bobby Hembrow explains further “This song feels like a drooling, Hulk-like beast; it's got a kind of oozing, sludge swagger to it. I think this is a good snapshot into where the band is heading.”
INDEVTH will be playing two special headline shows to celebrate the release of their upcoming EP. The first will take place on the 18th April in London at The Black Heart and second will be on the 19th April in Southampton at Heartbreakers. Ticket are on sale now: TOUR (indevth.co)
In 2020 INDEVTH signed to US label Famined Records and released their debut EP ‘Bleed’ the same year, following up in 2021 with the debut album 'Cold’, which has seen the band amass over 500,000 streams on Spotify.
2023 saw INDEVTH perform at the last ever UK Tech-Fest, alongside Chelsea Grin, Loathe and more. The band are no strangers to the road, and have showcased their relentless live performance while sharing the stage with Thrown, Graphic Nature, Heart Of A Coward, Ocean Grove and Harbinger.
