Following the release of their acclaimed new album ‘TANGK’ this week, IDLES, are delighted to announce a surprise show in Leeds - THIS THURSDAY.
Teaming up with legendary local record shop Crash Records for a special out-store gig, the band will be performing live at Project House on Thursday 22nd February @ 8.30pm.
In a statement about the show, IDLES said:
“What a week. We have been blown away by your love and energy. To show our appreciation we’ve partnered with the beautiful folks at @Crash_Records for an outstore at @projecthouselds this Thursday!”

IDLES released their fifth studio album ‘TANGK’ to rave reviews last Friday. It features previous singles “Gift Horse” and “Dancer”, the song which featured guest backing vocals from LCD Soundsystem duo James Murphy and Nancy Whang. Last week IDLES also teamed up with Chris Martin (and deepfake AI) for a recreation of Coldplay’s iconic “Yellow” in their video for the single “Grace”. Extending an explosive run of unerringly stirring albums, ‘TANGK’ is this band’s most ambitious and striking record yet. It is available to stream / order now - HERE.
After a whirlwind few days in New York last week where the band deliver another iconic performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, IDLES then returned home to launch their new album with a pop up shop in Shoreditch and a week of special shows in London, Bristol, and now Leeds to celebrate ‘TANGK’’s release. A major UK tour is planned for later in 2024 - on sale now.
