Reaching such a steep peak in his powers, yet with so much left to give, singer-songwriter, Jamie Webster came off the back of last month’s unforgettable, tent-busting Glastonbury appearance and two nights headlining the 13,000-capacity Pier Head in Liverpool to announce his biggest London and Manchester shows to date. Initially announcing a five-date November 2023 Tour, now advanced and upgraded to seven nights in five cities, Webster has already SOLD OUT TWO NIGHTS at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse.

Having rarely been off the road, yet busy in the studio, the twice UK Album Chart Top Ten finishing festival main stage hero also released his first new music of 2023 last month and now launches a new video for the typically socially-conscious, storybook single, Voice Of The Voiceless.

The fresh visuals feature Webster’s friend and fellow against-the-odds, working class success story, Molly McCann. The big-screen worthy performance of the martial artist and UFC champion, mixed with Webster’s appearance, reflects the sense of deep humanity in the artist’s words and the shared values of the two Liverpudlian self-starters who have grappled their way, beyond outsider expectation, to the top of their fields.

Talking about the single last month, Webster said: “‘Voice Of The Voiceless’ is a call to action for people who feel like they've got no way out of a life where the odds are constantly stacked against us. So many of us feel alone, powerless and with no chance to succeeding in today’s society. This song is a reminder that we're not alone, that if we rise from the shadows and come together, we might actually have a chance to make a positive change for everyone"

Webster’s next tour builds on his previous date in the capital at Shepherds Bush Empire to scale the stage of the 3,300-capacity, iconic Roundhouse venue later this year, while also adding an extra date at O2 Academy Glasgow after quickly selling out the first. His two, 3,500-strong O2 Victoria Warehouse dates come in addition to other, more intimate shows including Sheffield’s Leadmill and Bristol’s O2 Academy. Limited remaining tickets for all of Webster’s new tour dates are on sale now.

Adding those special winter 2023 dates and all upcoming festival appearances to his packed schedule, all of Webster’s currently confirmed shows for 2023 are as follows:

Webster’s already momentous year hit a mid-point highlight when he returned to Glastonbury Festival last month, wowing the bigger Avalon Stage following his 2022 debut on the Leftfield Stage at the invitation of Billy Bragg. Then came what could be his greatest nights in his home city, if there weren’t already rumours circulating of even bigger nights to come. Quickly selling out two nights on Liverpool’s Pier Head, a temporary 13,000 outdoor festival venue in front of the city’s iconic three graces buildings, the unforgettable, fireworks-punctuated performances served to deepen belief, if it was ever in doubt, in Webster’s prowess as a songwriter with immediate and wide-reaching connection to a diverse community of music lovers and cemented his place as a natural, big stage, arena-bound artist.

Webster first emerged as a solo artist in 2020 with the release of his mega-streaming, fully-confirmed modern festival field mosh-pit classic, Weekend In Paradise, which drove the socially-aware artist onto debut album success, hitting the UK Official Album Chart Top Ten at the first time of asking with We Get By. The same album made history by installing him as the first, ever Number One artist on the UK’s Official Folk Album Chart.

Quickly working upwards through the network of small venues onto bigger stages, the teller of stories that reflected the lives of his listeners swelled Webster’s growing family of fans, one which came together again to support 2023’s Moments album. Gaining a Top Five finish, settling at Number 3, Moments was recorded with an overt sense of ambition and deeper sonic sophistication in producer, Dave Eringa’s (Manic Street Preachers, Kylie Minogue) company, dynamics that are expected to extend further into a rumoured third album.
