HRTLSS drops new single 'Hive'

Taken from the upcoming EP ‘Blood Moon’ - out Friday 31st May 2024

Alternative rock artist HRTLSS (pronounced Heartless) has today unveiled his brand-new single ‘Hive’. HRTLSS cleverly ushers an enigmatic sound that blurs the lines between Rock, Pop and Metal while blending them into an electronic powerhouse of emotional conveyance. His new single ‘Hive’ will join the previously released single ‘Daylight’ on his highly anticipated debut EP, ‘Blood Moon’ (out on Friday 31st May, 2024).

Speaking about the new single, HRTLSS adds, “Hive is the prologue to this three part story, a starting chapter of the characters journey through vampirism and the emotional torment that comes with it. The song takes you through a journey of realising nothing will be the same anymore, you are no longer in control, the darkness within is taking over, and there is nothing you can do about it.”

The upcoming ‘Blood Moon’ EP is a conceptual piece following the journey of Vampirism through darkness, destruction, and acceptance. Pre-save the EP right HERE.

HRTLSS shares his outlook on the EP, “This body of work is a deep dive into pain, self pity and self destruction, but ultimately, the idea of losing oneself and becoming who they were meant to be. I took inspiration from the dark and grungy aesthetics of vampire movies. This project starts at the end of the story and works its way back through the EP, with each song being a different stage in the coming to terms of the state the character finds themselves in.”

In such a small amount of time, HRTLSS has truly stamped his mark on the UK alternative rock scene. Since launching in 2023 HRTLSS has received support from national radio in the form of BBC Radio 1’s Future Alternative with Nels Hylton, Introducing Rock with Alyx Holcombe (Track Of The Week), as well as editorial playlist support from multiple digital streaming platforms.

As a high school drop out and former metal guitarist, HRTLSS spent his youth touring Europe supporting some of todays biggest metal bands including the likes of Architects, Suicide Silence, Bullet for My Valentine, Enter Shikari and more.
