Helevorn to release album “Espectres” via Meuse Music Records on 13th September 2024

[ENG] Elegance and class have a name, Helevorn. Lucky us, because five years after the acclaimed Aamamata, on September the 13th the Balearic band will release Espectres, their fifth album. The work will be released by the Belgian label Meuse Music Records, and will be available on LP and digipack CD.
Once again exquisitely produced, recorded and mixed at Psychosomatic Studios in Mallorca by Miquel Àngel Riutort ‘Mega’, Espectres has also been mastered by Jens Bogren from his Fascination Street Studios in Sweden. As it could not be otherwise, these eight songs include all of the overwhelming emotional and sentimental charge to which Helevorn have accustomed us, completing this lavish compendium of the best doom with an artwork by Irene Serrano.
Based on the hauntology coined by Jacques Derrida and more specifically on the book Ghosts Of My Life by philosopher and critic Mark Fisher, Espectres appeals to the depths of our souls with the help of juicy collaborations, such as that of Thomas A.G. Jensen, Saturnus’ vocalist, on ‘Children Of The Sunrise’, the stellar appearance of Inés González on the track in Catalan ‘L’Endemà’, the guitar solo by Biel Gayà from Trallery on ‘Signals’, or the Spanish guitar of Jovan Milosevski, also on ‘Children Of The Sunrise’. Of mention is also the excellent session drummer work by Sebastià Barceló.
This is the return of delicacy, fatality, and feelings on the surface, of keyboards brimming with class. The return of melody and guttural. September the 13th will be a cloudy day. World-renowned, historic Helevorn will reclaim their throne.

[SPA] La elegancia y la categoría tienen un nombre, y ése es el de Helevorn. Afortunados nosotros, pues cinco años después del aclamado Aamamata, el 13 de septiembre el grupo balear publicará Espectres, su quinto álbum. La obra será lanzada por el sello belga Meuse Music Records, y estará disponible en LP y CD digipack.
Una vez más producido, grabado y mezclado de forma exquisita en los Psychosomatic Studios de Mallorca por Miquel Àngel Riutort ‘Mega’, Espectres también ha contado con el master de todo un Jens Bogren desde sus Fascination Street Studios de Suecia. Como no podía ser de otra manera, estas ocho canciones abarcan toda la abrumadora carga emotiva y sentimental a la que Helevorn nos tienen acostumbrados, completando este fastuoso compendio del mejor doom un artwork de Irene Serrano.
