Heavy Metal Chess Club entered the emo music scene in Philadelphia earlier this year, playing house shows and growing their audience at venues around Philadelphia since their formation in October. “Sorry I Made it Weird” marks the band’s first release, and the anticipation is high for their debut single. The group consists of Alex Watson on bass, Jackson Searfos on drums, and Henry Hammer and Clara Wawrzyn on guitars and vocals, who collaborate as the songwriters of the band.
