Love Ain't Enough... kicks off with a STRAIGHT RED welcome with "Anthem". Under two minutes in length, the high impact intro smashes out a hardcore leaning, fast-paced attack. Following with quintessential punk beats is "Old Bastard", "this song is about that crusty curmudgeon at the end of the bar who seems like he’s been there since the dawn of time."
Diving into a US punk sound, "Studs Up", the band explain, "You can hear our love of the misfits in this song if you know where to look. [It's] [a]rguably the 'poppiest' song on the album." While "We Hate Us" ventures into the pit of self-loathing and despair, "Own Goal" covers themes of hope and disappointment, grit and self forgiveness.
The ending act, "Football is Violence", is “[a] fun closing to the record with another short blistering number inspired by the super catchy UK bands like SPECIAL DUTIES. Complete with the trademark Oooo-ooooohs of the genre, this is a fun and catchy exit from your first straight red experience, 'CONGRATS, YOU HAVE BEEN PROPERLY RUN UP ON BY STRAIGHT RED FC'."

Punk five-piece STRAIGHT RED provide a bombastic football driven punk sound, drawing heavily from the UK 80s' punk scene with some influences taken from punk subculture across the pond, and elements of hard rock. Thematically, the band's inspiration and lyrics ties to working-class lad culture, but also the importance of rallying around the supporting each other. The outfit comprises of members of MORGUL BLADE, HEAVY TEMPLE, and NARCOS FAMILY BAND.
