Glasgow's How to Swim to Release Six Studio Albums in 2025

GLASGOW, UK – [10/03/25] – Building on the release last month of their fourth studio album,  Greek Actve, Glaswegian art-rockers How to Swim have revealed a slate of fve further studio  albums for release throughout 2025.

The band, whose sound was recently described by the Scotsh Daily Express as “majestc art rock,  combining the poppiness of Franz Ferdinand and the unpredictability of Field Music”, will  celebrate its 25th anniversary as a live entty in 2025 with six brand new studio albums, a 25-part  retrospectve visualised podcast series enttled The Band That Time Forgot, and a feature  documentary from Glasgow flmmaker Martn Campbell.

Asked about the six albums, lead singer and songwriter Gregor Barclay responded, “We've been  around a long tme, and we've not got as much to show for it as we feel we should, release-wise,  so this is an efort to redress the balance. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard managed to drop fve studio albums in 2017 and we fgured we could do one beter. Maybe they'll try for seven?”

Asked for comment, Scotsh music journalist and Is This Music? founder Stuart McHugh said,  "We’ve long been big fans of How To Swim at Is This Music? but it stll struck us that they’d only  made four 'proper' long-players. Now it seems they’re making up for lost tme, and on the  evidence of Greek Actve, every album on of this frankly ridiculous release schedule should be well  worth the wait. We are indeed spoiled."

With one album available already, the band have now revealed details of the further albums  slated for release throughout the year:

1. Greek Actve – 21st February – Scotsh Daily Express
