  3. 5 more minutes

  4. Back Pocket

  5. Till you said you liked my voice

Why not make a record of it?

The present picture is that of a generation from which the pandemic and lockdown have taken away hopes, distancing them from their present. Relationships, friendships or sentimental remain, consumed in living each other without the outside world proposing alternatives. 5 more minutes.

But he still holds a guitar.

Then the high school that ends (joylessly), distances that become oceanic: a college room, a computer with a dark screen waiting to turn on for a conversation that will fill the void for moments with endless days. Till you said you liked my voice.

But you write down thoughts and images.

Fragments of spoken sentences, expected words, Back Pocket, messages, fleeting meetings, planned and then cancelled, remain. Apology Cards. Or the precarious sleep of the pre-morning hours, after an insomnia fueled by doubts.

You try to unite those guitars and those words.

The abuse of the word love is the totem of the search for truth, claimed as the only foothold so as not to get lost in thin air. Platform 8. Words that become a continuous flow, find a new, obsessive, uncertain language, halfway between dream and reality.

Words and guitars that become sketches, which become a project. Which, faced with a possibility, take shape, playing with musicians and instruments. Who enter a studio, where Paolo Spaccamonti and Marco Milanesio, together with Federico Marchesano and Dario Bruna, let themselves be transformed by the magic of Ginevra Fenoglio, who, nourished by their technique and their taste, transforms six sketches into refined, elegant, fascinating and lethal songs.

Making a record, If I'm not loving you.
