George FitzGerald
Releases new single
“Gild”
Announces ‘All Night Long’ show at Village Underground for 29th November

“George FitzGerald continues his form as one of the UK’s most dynamic electronic acts.” Evening Standard
“Not As I solidified (George’s) position at the forefront of British electronic music.” Notion
“New song ‘Mother’ is a beatific introduction, with the opaque electronics utilising subtle layers of sound… the results speak for themselves.” Clash

Today George FitzGerald releases new single “Gild”. In a similar vein to recently released single “Incomplete Dreaming”, “Gild” is a nostalgic, garage-inspired tune, featuring trancey vocals and a warm, hooky bass.

“This track reminds me of working in Blackmarket in Soho on the deep house counter and afternoons pulling all the US import records down off the shelf to listen,” says George. “Also the Tuff Jam 4/4 garage records I used to buy as a kid. Those references are always close to the heart of what I do. I’m still really focused on going back to the essential elements of what I do in the studio.”
