Former ‘The Sea’ front man releases new LiVES single ‘Come Together #2’ co-written by 5 Brit Award Winner, multi platinum artist James Morrison 

UK solo-artist LiVES (aka Peter Chisholm) was the singer & guitarist with cult UK rock duo The Sea (along with his brother Alex on drums), they released 3 studio albums & played over 1000 concerts & festivals (inc: Glastonbury, CMJ, SXSW, Eurosonic & supported Muse, The Kills & James Morrison on UK/European tours). As well as having 3 songs in Kerrang Magazine’s ‘Top 10 Songs of the Week Chart’ & being ‘Record Of The Week/Month’ in The Guardian, The Fly, Rocksound & CMJ Magazine, they also had several radio hits with songs such as:New York, Love Love Love & Get Up Stand Up Die.

Come Together #2, co-written by James Morrison is the lead single from forthcoming LiVES album ‘Let Them Eat Cake’, produced by John Cornfield (Muse, Oasis, The Verve, New Model Army, Supergrass, Catatonia, Razorlight, Robert Plant, Stone Roses, Ride). Peter explains "I was in James's home studio hanging out, we wrote a song called Come Together & he gave me the 'tapes' & said do whatever you want with it'’. Essentially the song is about panic & disenfranchisement with the world but also the yearning to pull oneself out of the darkness.

After early independent releases of ‘The Flying EP’ & ‘The Naked EP’ (Acoustic), LiVES moved towards a more guitar led style with debut album ‘Bayonne 21’ (2021) & have now gone heavier still with ‘Let Them Eat Cake’ (Released 25th Oct 24). Peter’s music is used on T.V, film and advertising throughout the world inc; BBCITVChannel 4Channel 5Warner BrosESPNCBSMTVNetflixAmazon Prime & many major brands for advertising.
