Flamenco Metallers Breed 77 To Release New Single "Outside" To Coincide With Their UK Tour Return

First UK Tour In 10 Years Kicks Off May 25th
At Uprising Festival

Having returned from their hiatus with a blast earlier this year, UK/Gibraltan flamenco metal maestros Breed 77 are gearing up for their first UK tour in several years at the end of May. Alongside their first UK live shows since 2017, they are also gearing up to release an excellent new single, the follow up to comeback track End Of The Line.

The new Breed 77 single is called "Outside", and it is set to hit a streaming platform near you on the 27th of May. The opening riff is an instant crowd pleaser, with Paul Isola's trademark vocals drawing the listener in ahead of the huge chorus.

Outside is everything fans would hope for from new Breed 77, with some new touches that make the band sound as relevant in 2024 as they ever have done. To find out a bit more about their new single, we hand over to Breed 77 themselves:

"Outside is a foot-stomping anthem built on slabs of guitars, pounding bass, driving rhythm and soaring vocals delivering the message that it’s OK not to fit in, to feel like a misfit in today’s society. With all that’s going on in the world – from politics to people’s attitudes and values – it’s OK to feel alienated from all the chaos that you encounter daily."

Outside is available to pre-save on your platform of choice on this link.

As mentioned above, Breed 77 are gearing up to hit the road across England for five shows at the end of May. The tour kicks off with a prime spot at one of the UK's fastest growing metal festivals, Leicester's Uprising Festival on the 25th of May, and continues with headline shows in Chester, Milton Keynes, Tunbridge Wells and London. Support on the tour comes from UK electronic metallers Seething Akira. Full show details can be found below:

Breed 77 announced their return from their extended break in March 2024 with the single End Of The Line. The track has been met with widespread fan approval and extensive media and rock radio coverage. A fierce social commentary on the current state of society combined with a call to improve things, End Of The Line marked Breed 77's return in a big way. About Breed 77
Originally formed just before the turn of the millennium, Breed 77's unique flamenco metal sound has won them legions of fans and seen them tour all over the world throughout the 2000's and 2010's. Their breakthrough album Cultura stands the test of time today as one of the finest metal albums of the mid 2000's, offering something that truly hadn't been heard before. Singles like World's On Fire and The River have as much fire to them today as the day they were released.

Having played with such metal luminaries as Machine Head, Life Of Agony and KoRn and taken to the stage at events like the UK's Download Festival and SXSW in the US, Breed 77 have delivered on the biggest stages around the world. Huge favourites in their dual home of Gibraltar, the band have played to enormous crowds as part of national celebrations in Gibraltar twice (including taking a break from their hiatus in 2017 to be a big part of the Tercentenary celebrations). Hints of the band reactivating first surfaced towards the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the band bursting back to full life at the beginning of 2024. The rest of the year ahead will see more new music, live shows, and maybe even a new album. Stay tuned!
