This EP has been a labor of love for over a year now. As soon as we released our full-length album in January 2022, we immediately dove back into writing. The process was fascinating because the songs were born in spontaneous moments, knowing that my move to Boston was imminent. However, it wasn't until earlier this year when we embarked on our Changes 2023 tour that we had the chance to hit the studio and fine-tune these tracks. Being back in Finland reunited us with our supportive community, and it allowed us to create some of the most incredible music videos yet.
The title "Highly Favored" has profound meaning to us. It represents our commitment to reaching the highest possible standards in our music, leaving no room for compromises. To be "highly favored" means to stay authentic, grounded, and secure—a set of qualities that nobody should overlook. These songs were crafted during a pivotal period in both our band's journey and our personal lives. They mirror the range of emotions we experience while managing the perpetual motion machine that is EOUI, as well as our individual journeys.

Biography
Since its founding in 2016 by guitarist Joonas Honkanen and drummer/vocalist Jad Batrouny, EOUI pushes boundaries, blending hardcore and death metal in unprecedented ways. With shows in over 9 countries around Europe, U.K and U.S, EOUI is set to take over the world this 2023. Together with live bassist Tino Oksala and live drummer Pablo Rojas, delivering guaranteed devastation over the EU, UK, and USA spanning 3 tours, ensuring no ears are left unharmed.
