Expertly weaving heart-wrenching melodies into this hauntingly beautiful, and at times surprisingly brutal track, Violet Sin captures the essence of heartbreak and loss in a way that will make you want to curl up in a ball and cry...but in the best way possible. The vocals and ethereal instrumentals transport you to a world of dark beauty and raw emotion, conjuring up images of starless nights and turbulent emotions. So grab some tissues and a glass of wine, and let yourself get lost in the pain and beauty of lost love.

Violet Sin has gained recognition in the metal scene with their debut single "The Night is Dark (And Full of Memories)" which received positive feedback from metal music media internationally. The band's unique sound, a combination of 80s influenced singing, Scandinavian melancholy, and modern metalcore, has garnered attention and praise from critics and fans alike.

Founded by Veli-Matti Kananen (Kalmah) and Jon Pyres (Lycanthro, Threads of Fate), Violet Sin is a group that aims to create melancholic metal that incorporates various musical elements. After enlisting the talents of Jimi Myohanen (Se, Josta Ei Puhuta / Kaera / Swansong / Sadistik Forest) and Ari Levola (RASA), the band set out to record their first EP in late 2022, which is set to be released in 2023 under Inverse Records."
