Brighton based Electronic Post-Hardcore duo fakeyourdeath have today released their debut EP ‘null/void’. Featuring the band’s first three singles - ‘truth’, ‘consume’ & ‘humanity’ - null/void adds two unheard tracks to the band’s catalogue - ‘broken’ and ‘hell’. Stream the full EP right HERE.
Alongside the EP release fakeyourdeath have also today unveiled a full live session, continuing to showcase the band’s darker side and the attention to detail they carry through to their live shows.
Talking about the new EP Vocalist, Candi Underwood mentions, “null/void is an EP about everything and therefore nothing. It’s an angry rant about how much the world sucks right now and how we as humans feed that state. If you want a happy listen, this isn’t it. The EP explores themes of depression, mental health and heartache. It’s all about serving the music; bringing it to life and forcing the listener into an uncomfortable state.”

To coincide with the EP, fakeyourdeath will play a special release show to celebrate the occasion. The EP release show will take place on Thursday 25th April at London’s infamous Blondies.

fakeyourdeath’s recent single ‘consume’ featured on both the Kerrang! Magazine Chart and Metal Hammer’s ‘Best New Tracks Of The Week’. The band have also seen national radio support after being chosen as ‘Featured Artist Of The Week’ on Kerrang! Radio Fresh Blood with Alex Baker and ‘Track Of The Week’ on BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock with Alyx Holcombe.
