Essex's Greebo share two new singles ‘Mindgames’ & ‘Sad Sunday’

A SIDE - ‘MIND GAMES’:

Lead track from this double release is titled ‘Mind Games’. It tells the story of really liking someone who’s completely crazy, but you put up with all the bad times because the sex is good. This one is unlike anything we have ever released before, and we think perfectly shows the new direction we’re taking the band in for the future.

B SIDE - ‘SAD SUNDAY’:

Following the lead of ‘Mind Games’ is a track titled ‘Sad Sunday’, a song that was written a while ago and has been a mainstay of our live set for many gigs. We’re glad to say that fans can finally listen to this one from their own playlists. Following the theme of the A Side, falling in love at a young age rarely ends well, life moves on, often in different directions and it’s hard to keep things from falling apart. If this resonates with you then you might find some familiar ground with this track.

*We’re proud to have worked with esteemed producer James Grant who mixed and mastered both tracks*

WHO ARE GREEBO?

ASH CONDON – Frontman, guitarist, vocalist, main songwriter, what can’t this man do? … control his IBS, that’s what he can’t do.

MATT SOLOMON – Known more nowadays as Mr Fumble, Matt is the band’s drummer and backing vocalist. #stopmattabuse

HARRY MUNSON – Our very own island boy, Harry single-handedly brings the average age of the band down to 12. He’s our bassist.

CHARLIE “FUZZ” MASTERSON – The newest member to the band, Charlie’s skills with a guitar are enough to make a grown man cry, and he’s taking Greebo’s sound to new places with his synth playing. Don’t forget, give The Fuzz some love.

We’re Greebo, an up-and-coming brit-pop/grunge/punk influenced 4-piece band based in Essex. We burst onto the Essex music scene 2 years ago and have since featured several times on BBC Essex through their Introducing platform. We have also performed all over the county, developing our totally unique take on music as we go. Branching out further than our hometown of Colchester, we’ve also played in Brightlingsea, Chelmsford, Brentwood, London and making the occasional appearance in Suffolk.
