Last year, British musician ELIZA unveiled a live performance version of ‘Dripping’ recorded at RAK Studios. The sensual and hypnotic fan-favourite, in which ELIZA adds a renewed magic to in this stunning live showcase, is the first to be released on DSP’s, and comes ahead of ELIZA’s debut live album ‘Live at RAK Studios’, set to release November 3rd via LOG OFF/Different Recordings with an O2 Kentish Town show to follow 17th November.

On the new album ‘Live at RAK Studios’, ELIZA and her eight-piece band perform some old favourites like 'Wasn't Looking' and reworked versions of iconic ELIZA tunes such as 'Lava/Treacle', as well as deep cuts from the most recent album 'A Sky Without Stars'.

Lifted off her recently released record ‘A Sky Without Stars’, this live version of ‘Dripping’ is an apt demonstration of ELIZA’s honeyed vocals, as she gives a stellar performance. The synergy and chemistry with her band is evident throughout, allowing the resulting performance to feel like the listener is being let into an intimate oasis.

The one-shot performance was recorded and filmed at the prestigious RAK Studios, known for hosting great talents such as Whitney Houston, David Bowie, Frank Ocean and Radiohead. The live rendition of ‘Dripping’ is the first in a series of live recordings ELIZA will be enticing her fans with ahead of her Live at RAK Studios album.

This original performance earned praise from BBC 6 Music’s Huw Stephens and Chris Hawkins which parlayed into press support from i-D, CLASH, METAL Magazine, DUMMY, Okayplayer, CRACK Magazine, NPR and a plethora of others. After playing a run of sold-out record store shows in London, to celebrate the vinyl release of ‘A Sky Without Stars’, ELIZA featured on Grant Brydon’s podcast to talk about her music career so far and an interview on ITV London News. She has also curated an hour mix for BBC Sounds, as part of their ‘Focus Beats’ feature.

Internationally, ELIZA is held with reverence. With the original version of ‘Dripping’ reaching number one on Radio France’s network FIP, and ELIZA’s recent print feature in Glamour Magazine Poland further adding to the highly anticipated Live at RAK Studios album.
