Groove-induced alternative rockers DYING HABIT are proud to present their huge new single 'Echoes' - out now!
'Echoes' fuses driving rock guitars and rhythms with soaring and emotive vocals. From quiet contemplative openings the song reaches a euphoric crescendo with the explosive and memorable chorus at the climax of the track. It perfectly demonstrates the outstanding level of musicianship, lyricism and songwriting that the band have now reached.
Lyrically 'Echoes' explores the challenges of dealing with anxiety and how one bad thought in the morning can completely take over one's whole day. The choice is to either let it beat you or to try your best to confront it. This song is our message of encouragement... anything is possible if you take that next step.
'Echoes' is the final single before the release of our new album 'The Chaos of Silence' which releases on May 31st, 2024, and follows the acclaimed singles 'Celestial' and 'Hard to Say No.'
BIOGRAPHY
Based on the rugged island of Anglesey, Wales, and fronted by brooding and emotive vocalist Nathan Jones DYING HABIT hurl out potent alt-rock framed by hooky refrains and backed by the pulsating rhythm section of Mark Jones (drums) and Daniel Garner (bass); the quartet are completed by the cultured riffery of guitarist Alan Hart. Upon their formation, DYING HABIT set loose their debut single Unrealities, in 2018. The band followed on with the release of their debut album, Until the Air Runs Out, which arrived in 2020 The record showcased an encyclopaedia of influences, strong variation, and imagination, all inspired by the recent pandemic. In 2022, the assiduous four-piece worked with esteemed producer, Al Grooves, on the single 'Directions'. This put down a serious marker for the band with its combination of hooks and melody combined with a heavier edge not demonstrated on earlier material.
With acclaim for a live show that is gloriously booming, energetic, and immersive DYING HABIT return in 2024 with a new album 'The Chaos of Silence’. Recorded in North Wales with producer Russ Hayes 'The Chaos of Silence' showcases the growth and refinement in the band’s songwriting. From the brain rattling opener '24 Eyes' right through to the euphoric crescendo of closer 'Echoes' the album encompasses a variety of songs and styles that showcase the depth and creativity the band possess.
