INTRODUCING‘CRASHFIX’
‘Crashfix’, Ziggy Splynt's new single from their upcoming EP ‘Airlock’ will arrive on the 8th of March. Starting a string of new releases, ‘Crashfix’ is the perfect introduction to Ziggy's new direction in sound, drawing from bands such as A Perfect Circle, MUSE and Oceansize.
Being the first single of their upcoming, self-recorded, self-produced EP ‘Airlock’ Ziggy returns to the fold. Ever since the pandemic the band has been working behind the scenes to hone their recording skills and put out their first self-made record. “Airlock” will be released on vinyl through Plato Utrecht Records, and digitally on streaming services on the 20th of April.
Vocalist Bart Huskes about ‘Crashfix': “The lyrics are fairy-tale like, giving the song a dreamlike feeling. The distorted bass and driving drums give the song the ominosity that reflects the darker side of the lyrics, whereas the reverb-laden guitars and high-pitched vocals emphasize the wondrous side, eventually culminating in a bombastic finale”.

Hailing from Utrecht this bombastic alt-rock three-piece has years of live experience under their belts. From participating in Popronde, to multiple UK Tours, and playing aftershows for Within Temptation in AFAS live to performing on various national radio stations such as 3FM and KINK FM.
