Dirt Cult Records Announces The Dumpies LP and Releases Track
Dirt Cult Records announced today that they will release a LP for the Dumpies and released a track (see New Noise premiere).
The Dumpies are a punk band formed in Austin, Texas in 2017 and currently call Oregon home. Their music has been described as “a true celebration of slopped-out, disheveled, DIY punk”, and “bizarro, bombastic punk pop proselytizing in the spirit of Pink Flag, Extra Credit, and the Hickey / Voodoo Glow Skulls seven-inch”.
The band has been featured in numerous print and online publications and have steadily built a worldwide fanbase through their infamously chaotic shows in places as varied as Chile, Japan, Argentina, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, Canada, and the US.
The Dumpies released a split 7” with Vancouver, BC’s Night Court on Hovercraft Records in May 2024 accompanied by a four-date release party through British Columbia. Their next full-length album ‘Gay Boredom’ will be released on October 19th 2024 via venerated punk label Dirt Cult Records followed by a tour of Indonesia.
