'DAMN THAT FREQUENCY (IYEARA REMIX)' OUT NOW

Dhani Harrison will release his new film INNERSOUNDSTAGE through H.O.T. Records/BMG on 27th September. Filmed at Soundstage Studios in North London and directed by Joel Kazuo Knoernschild, INNERSOUNDSTAGE is a live performance of Harrison’s recent, critically acclaimed album INNERSTANDING. Featuring Dhani Harrison (guitar & vocals), Donovan Hepburn (drums), Jeff Wootton (guitar), Josh Giroux (keyboards & vocals), Toby Butler (bass, keyboards & vocals) and special guests critically acclaimed Australian singer Mereki Beach (vocals), Liela Moss (vocals) of The Duke Spirit, and Alex White (saxophone), the 8-piece neon-soaked full production performance frequently breaks the fourth wall and takes viewers into the control room. Capturing the entirety of Dhani’s latest solo album INNERSTANDING from start to finish, INNERSOUNDSTAGE showcases the tracks, including the singles “Damn That Frequency” and “I.C.U,” in a new live sonic setting. The film will be available on 27th September with a 24-hour premiere on YouTube and on Video-on-demand services.

"I wrote INNERSTANDING during a time when touring wasn't a possibility, so I thought it was important to document the album in a live setting with some of the incredible musicians I collaborated with to create it. I also believe that an album's not truly done until you've played it live from start to finish - that's the fun part! We’re here now, this is it." - Dhani Harrison

KEY PRAISE FOR INNERSTANDING:

“INNERSTANDING finds Harrison marking out his own territory, sustaining a brooding musical atmosphere and filling it with sterling melodies.” - MOJO

“...shafts of bright light breaking through the mossy overgrowth of programmed beats, fuzzed out bass and Harrison’s righteously paranoiac lyrics of a planet and its populace on the brink.”Paste

“Atmospheric.” - American Songwriter

“Its electronic pulse intermingles with shimmering mantras, resulting in a record that reveals its mysteries over time.” - All Music

“Harrison challenges category by exploring the boundaries of music and creativity. Faultlessly blending distinctive influences whilst maintaining his originality as a contemporary musical genius.” - MXDWN

“Positively peppered with an abundance of barbed hooks.” - Classic Rock Magazine

“Harrison has definitely created a masterpiece with this album. INNERSTANDING is brilliant, from the stark front sleeve to the sounds found on the record.” – Spill

Harrison will follow last year’s sold-out London shows with a string of UK and European shows in October, including an appearance at EartH Hackney. Tickets are on sale HERE. INNERSTANDING was produced by Harrison and co-mixed with GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Paul Hicks (The Beatles, Joe Strummer, The Rolling Stones). The album also features guest appearances from Graham Coxon (Blur), Liela Moss and Mereki, the latter two of whom perform in INNERSOUNDSTAGE.

Earlier this year, Harrison released Dreamers In The Field a further full album collaboration with throat-singing group Huun-Huur-Tu and two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated producer & musician Carmen Rizzo (Seal / Alanis Morissette / Coldplay), blending traditional Tuvan throat singing and instruments with modern production and instrumentation. Recorded all over the world – from Los Angeles and Europe to Harrison’s very own F.P.S.H.O.T. Studios in Henley-On-Thames – this beautiful album is mesmerizing from start to finish and received global plaudits upon its release. Uncut called it an “inventive, otherworldly collision of East and West,” while The Sun noted "[Dreamers In The Field] makes for an intensely spiritual experience."
