Following a successful two-week road trip playing energetic live shows between Glasgow and Brighton, Melbourne’s Delivery share a new video for ‘Lifetimer’ today, taken from debut album ‘Forever Giving Handshakes’. The full album is now released in the UK via Anti-Fade/ Spoilsport / Feel It Records.
The wiry, one-chord, slacker rock undertone of ‘Lifetimer’ carries a story of fondness and passion from the carwash to the coast… and may well have the most singable chorus of the year. The new lo-fi video, made by Evie Vlah and Lincoln Healy, features the band paying homage to their four-wheeled wonder chariot.

“You could simply say that ‘Lifetimer’ is about the love I have for my 21-year-old car,” explains Sam Harding (synth, guitar, vocals). “It dawned on me one day that even though these things are built to last forever, there could come a day very soon in which I would have to say goodbye.”
In a world now built on planned obsolescence, Delivery’s debut long-player, ‘Forever Giving Handshakes’ is a forever album that is unbreakable, unstoppable, and built to last. Recorded over five days, with the bulk of the work completed live in their Brunswick rehearsal space, the 12-track opus mixes garage-rock, synth-punk, and slacker vibes throughout. Their five distinct voices simultaneously pull songs in different directions while undeniable chemistry reveals a combined hive mind ascending on a clear group mission… to rock.
It is a statement from Delivery. Not only have they been one of the fastest-working bands of the last two years in Melbourne, but they’ve also made one of the strongest local debut albums of the past decade. If you didn’t have the Delivery phenomenon yet, you’re about to.
