DeepC Divers Release Powerful New Single "Still Here"

Cambridge, MA – August 7, 2024 – DeepC Divers, led by the multi-talented artist Deep Chinappa, is thrilled to announce the release of their latest single, "Still Here." This high-energy rock ‘n roll track is more than just a song; it’s an anthem of resilience, embodying the challenges, growth, and perseverance experienced by artists everywhere during the global pandemic.

"Still Here" is a heartfelt reflection of Deep Chinappa's own journey as an artist. "This song is deeply personal to me," says Chinappa, who wrote and composed the track. "It’s about the struggles we face, the dreams we chase, and the determination to keep going no matter what. It’s the underdog’s voice that really carries this song."

The songwriting process for "Still Here" was an introspective journey. Chinappa shares, "I thought about my journey—how we all have desires and dreams from birth. Our ambitions drive us, pushing us forward, but it’s often the underdog’s voice that truly resonates and gives the song its power."

The single was brought to life with the collaboration of some of the finest talents in the industry. Deep Chinappa co-produced the track with his guitarist, Paul Erlich, tracked with  Alfredo Chappelliquen Marka music studios, Amherst,  mixed with  Brian Charles at Rare Signals studios in Cambridge, and Jordan Lake Productions, Nashville who handled the final mastering.

The band features Paul Erlich on 7-string guitars, (studio musicians)Abner Garcia on 5-string bass, and Eliezer Martinez on drums, all contributing to the song’s robust and dynamic sound.

Deep Chinappa’s musical journey began in India as a rock ‘n roll frontman performing covers, but his passion led him to the U.S., where he evolved into a singer, songwriter, and composer. As the founder and lead vocalist of DeepC Divers, Chinappa has made a name for himself with his unique blend of rock and roll energy and heartfelt lyrics.

"I’ve loved music from a young age," says Chinappa. "I started as a singer and percussionist, and eventually taught myself to play guitar and write songs. Music has always been my way of expressing my innermost thoughts and emotions."

Listeners can expect a true rock ‘n roll experience with "Still Here." Chinappa hopes the song will resonate with fans on a deep level. "I want people to feel uplifted, to keep coming back to the song because it lifts their spirits," he says.

Fans are encouraged to check out "Still Here" and the rest of DeepC Divers’ EP on Spotify. "Go give it a listen, and if it speaks to you, share it with someone who needs a little extra motivation to keep going," Chinappa urges.
