A Flourishing Scourge: Dark, progressive, misanthropic metal

A Flourishing Scourge was formed in 2013 by long-time friends Tye Jones and Josh Keifer as a creative outlet for their shared musical interests. Originally created as a studio project, it quickly gained interest and traction in the Seattle area. By 2015, Andrew Dennis and Kevin Carbrey had filled out the line-up and the band self-released their first EP, As Beauty Fades Away. By the end of 2017, they had firmly established themselves in the northwest metal scene and released their self-titled full-length debut.
After several years of performing in the Seattle area and throughout the West Coast, the band decided to focus on a follow-up album that would truly showcase their writing and musical abilities. The culmination of this effort has resulted in their third studio release, Sickened Seed. Mixed and mastered at Fascination Street Studios, it is the band's most ambitious work to date.
