Daniel Schamroth Releases Acoustic Track “Soul On Fire”
British singer-songwriter Daniel Schamroth has released a new track titled "Soul On Fire." A warm, melancholic acoustic indie song, and the third home demo recording that he has released this fall.
Out now via independent label So, Let’s Talk, and distributed by Stem. “Soul On Fire,” is written by Daniel Schamroth, and produced by Tom Greenwell. Schamroth is set to release more home demo tracks going into 2025.
“This song was inspired by a friend of mine who used to loose their temper from time to time. It's about that feeling of 'seeing red' and loosing control, and suddenly everything seems like a blur,” says Schamroth.
Earlier this year, he released ‘Major Companion’, a 6-track EP produced by 2 time Grammy-winner Guy Massey, which racked up over 150,000 streams on Spotify. In May, the world's most iconic guitar brand Gibson announced a new series of Acoustic Sessions. Schamroth was the first artist chosen to perform live at the Gibson Garage in London.
Described as “an incredible talent” by BBC Introducing and “wholly uplifting” by American Songwriter. Devon-born Daniel Schamroth has previously supported Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, and shared the stage with the likes of The Charlatans and Reverend & The Makers. His music has been used by Formula One racing team Oracle Red Bull Racing, and featured in the Australian film Goldstone. Schamroth is also the frontman for Indie band The Loft Club. The bands 2021 debut album ‘Dreaming The Impossible’, released via So, Let’s Talk/Lightyear/Virgin Music, included a single titled “Flicker” featuring Grammy-winning singer Lisa Loeb, which reached Billboard’s Adult Alternative Airplay Chart in the US.
