Forming in 2012, Continents were shortly after signed to Victory Records in 2012 before parting ways with the label in early 2017. Known for their high energy live performances which saw the band perform throughout the UK, Europe & Japan, Continents have conquered many venues with sell-out headline shows while also playing alongside The Ghost Inside, Cancer Bats, Emmure, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Word Alive, Skindred and many more.
Continents announced their return in 2022 with the release of singles 'Bad Blood' and 'Clarity', a secret set at ‘That’s What You Get Festival’ and an appearance at Throwfest. Following up to this the band announced they would be headlining Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff for the 10-year anniversary of their album ‘Idle Hands’ which shortly after was upgraded and sold out.
In July 2023, the band released the first single of a new era 'LIFELINE'. The track reached over 20,000 plays on Spotify in two months, had national radio support from BBC Radio and Spotify editorial playlisting support on METAL UK. All this leading to a highlight performance at Burn In Down Festival 2023.
