Claustrofobia announces another North American tour

….alongside Exmortus, Generation Kill and Hatriot

The band recently left a tour with Exciter and is already embarking on the next one

Claustrofobia channels its heavy metal energy with a solid career in Brazil, South America, Europe and the United States. Currently based in the United States, where they affectionately call the city of Las Vegas "home", the band announces another major tour in the United States. The band has just come off a tireless tour with Exciter and embarks on a new tour alongside Exmortus, Generation Kill and Hatriot, three rising bands that are enjoying success in the United States. The tour is produced by Continental Booking, a large American agency. (check all dates below).

“We are super excited to hit the road again, appropriately since the pandemic, where we kept the band busy, recorded an album, did some content and random shows. We just finished the tour with Exciter, which was sensational, even with the problem with our transport that broke down and it was a rather tense and complicated situation, but we did a miracle to make the tour continue and we went to the end, we did it from beginning to end. In the end, we didn't miss any shows, we had to leave our bus abandoned there in Portland and then we came back. We had three weeks of preparation to go on this tour. We are very happy to hit the road the way we like, despite the obstacles, we are overcoming them as always and we are going to close the year very well. We will also announce some releases for the beginning of next year, more concert dates and we will also start composing soon. So that's it, thanks to everyone's strength, guys from Brazil too and soon we will have news there” says Marcus D’Angelo.

Claustrofobia continues to promote its latest album, 'Unleeched'. In this project, the Brazilian heavy metal group brings back its classic aggressive sound, and also expands its sound across 9 new tracks. The album was produced by Adair Daufembach and Claustrofobia, and recorded, mixed and mastered by Adair Daufembach in August 2020 at Northwood Sound Studio in Los Angeles.

Now based in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Brazilian death/thrash metal trio Claustrofobia, was formed in 1994 by brothers Marcus and Caio D'Angelo, has a career spanning almost three decades, a discography consisting of six full albums and a release in DVD, a multitude of international tours, high-performance live performances sharing stages with names like Iron Maiden, Slayer and Anthrax, as well as countless fans around the world.

More about Claustrofobia:
Founded and led by the D’Angelo brothers, fiercely independent since 1994, CLAUSTROFOBIA acts with the same respect and attitude in the dirtiest underground clubs or on today’s biggest stages.

Their unmistakable energy and authenticity has won them countless fans throughout Brazil, South America, Europe and the United States. It is no surprise that they shared the stage with Metal royalty Iron Maiden, Slayer, Anthrax, among others.

In 2019, they returned to Brazil for a historic show at Rock in Rio, at the request of Brazilian fans, through a nationwide petition. The band was also invited by Slayer to open for their final show in São Paulo.

"Building a cult is one of those things that’s easy in theory but tough in practice. Or it is, anyway, if you’re not Claustrofobia — a Brazilian death metal-tinged trad-thrash ultra-power trio that will have you head banging your way into the fold via the new Caio D`Angelo-helmed video for the soul-stirring, killer anthem 'Riff Cult'" - Shawn Macomber, Decibel Magazine, December 2020
