CHAIN CODE Announces Debut Album “Synthetic Outcomes” with New Single “A New Face”

Progressive rock fans, get ready to be captivated by the latest offering from Chain Code, a unique and complex solo project led by the enigmatic MuRphry who channels his love for prog rock and sci-fi into a potent sonic experience. Chain Code is set to release their debut single “A New Face”, which will be the first look at the debut album “Synthetic Outcomes” due out on October 1st. MuRphry comments on the single:

“The single concerns the effort and ingenuity that went into designing a technology that eventually encapsulates humanity’s inherent desire for self-destruction and war. This was the first song written for the album and has some of the best interplay between guitar parts.”

“A New Face” is a short, yet windy, frantic, and complex song that is as unpredictable as it is catchy. It was the first song written for the album and set off a writing binge in Chain Code mastermind MuRphry that would cease after writing two albums in one year. The song itself, much like the album, is full of dire situations where human beings lose the fight for existence to AI and technology.

Chain Code was formed in 2022 by MuRphry with a mission to explore the boundaries of progressive rock through a blend of melody, dissonance, and intricate stringed instrument interplay. “A New Face” exemplifies this approach, delivering a non-stop barrage of syncopation and dissonant tension that immediately draws listeners into the dystopian world that Chain Code inhabits. It is recommended for fans of Adrian Belew, Voivod, and Primus.
