Birmingham metalcore quintet CAULDRON are pleased to reveal the video for their new single 'Rejection Pact' which is released on 30th August 2023 on all good streaming services.

The single is the first track to be taken from the band's debut album, Suicide In The City, which will be released on 3rd November 2023 through The Coming Strife Records (UK/EU) and Ephyra Records (US).

The record is now available to pre-order on a number of vinyl variants, along with 3 variants of cassette and collectors edition box sets, including a limited edition 7inch through both labels.

Suicide In The City is a concept album based around a group therapy session in Seattle run by the main character of the story, Tristram St. Claire. Interweaving throughout are the stories of characters from the group, making an in-depth tale ladened with the physical and mental struggles of all involved. The concept draws from vocalist Frazer Cassling's experiences and struggles with mental health, portrayed through characters, as he pulled himself through the lowest time of his life.

"The album's concept was conceived during the worst period of my life," states Cassling. "The story is laced with things I needed to write to myself. During this time I was diagnosed with OCD, and this really changed the shape of where the album was going. The lyrics are ultra-personal, whilst being really story-focused."

Recorded at Lower Lane Studios by producer Sam Bloor, the album was mastered by Grant Berry at Fader Mastering (Ithaca, Static Dress, Rolo Tomassi).

With topics of anxiety, self-worth, grief and mental health struggles, Suicide In The City is a dark record with a powerful and strong message.

The band will hit the road later this year, with tickets on sale now (see below for listings).
