Brooklyn, NY (by way of Charleston, SC) Alternative Rockers WHITEHALL Debut Dreamy New Single + Video "Over Now"

Brooklyn, NY (by way of Charleston, SC) indie rockers, Whitehall, continue to release new singles as a follow-up to their recent LP 'Maizy.'
The latest, titled "Over Now," is now streaming on DSPs, along with an accompanying video (directed by Gabe Gill & Elihu Jones).

Whitehall says, ""Over Now" is another song from the 'Maizy' writing process that has to do with dreams, much like the lyrics suggest. Musically it's a hodgepodge of note-worthy ideas from the previous year of solo noodling before the Maizy material was getting written, and some great patchwork ingenuity when the album writing process started up. It’s also one of the tracks that had the most collaboration on lyrics that we’ve ever done, something we’d only just started to experiment with for Maizy. We almost chose this one to close Maizy, but decided it would be fun to save as an extra treat!"

The latest LP, 'Maizy,' was produced by Kevin Ratterman (My Morning Jacket, White Reaper).

Whitehall is currently on the road with dates running through November 19. Tickets for the shows are available HERE.

Whitehall's distinct blend of danceable beats and introspective themes is a testament to their artistry and originality. Their music inspires both the body and the mind, leaving listeners feeling energized and empowered.

With their recent tour as direct support for the Goo Goo Dolls and their previous shows with Arlie and The Sewing Club, Whitehall is proving to be an emerging force in the indie rock scene.

About Whitehall:

Whitehall is an indie rock four-piece band from Charleston, SC. Paddy McKiernan (vocals, guitar), Brennan Clark (bass), Davis Rowe (drums), and Avery Greeson (guitar) met while attending the College of Charleston and got their start writing songs in a dorm room. After four years spent in the South Carolina DIY scene playing house shows throughout the state, the band recorded their debut album, 'Ocean Fiction,' and embarked on their first tour on the East Coast with a live show that is at once frenetic and introspective. In the years that followed, Whitehall recorded and released their sophomore effort 'Swordfish Catcher' and received praise and playlist placement from national publications like NPR, Alternative Press, and American Songwriter. This album saw their sound shift from bouncy, melody-laden indie, to something grittier, with distorted guitars and imaginative lyricism that more closely resembles acts like Pavement and Car Seat Headrest.
