Brax releases single “Where’d My Heart Go?”

Brax’s latest song “Where’d My Heart Go?” is based on a tragic love story ending in heartbreak, depression, and addiction. The song portrays Brax’s hopeless romances and the struggle to care for another person essentially asking himself “Where’d My Heart Go?”. The song touches base with Brax trying to understand what was the start of his unattachment or who. Brax in his signature haze-like vocals goes into different challenges he faced throughout his life to cause him to end up like this. With the opening being about an unnamed girl, throughout the whole song Brax talks about substance abuse, trust issues, psychosis, and much more as feats that could be why Brax is the way he is now. Brax’s vocals fit the production almost perfectly, pairing together to draw the listener in. Creating a nostalgic almost cinematic feel as if you were in a movie. 'Where'd My Heart Go?’ connects with the listener because it’s so personal. Reflecting on his past it leaves the listener reflecting on their own past asking themselves the same question about how they've changed and “Where’d My Heart Go?”.
