Born Lost share single ‘Head In Hands’

Philly rockers, Born Lost release the fourth single from their upcoming 'Endless Nothing EP', 'Head In Hands'. Recorded and mixed at Gradwell House Studios by Eric McNeilis (The Warhawks), ‘Head in Hands’ is a big departure for the Philly trio.  Gone are the heavy riffs and hard edges, here the boys show a softer side.  The song departs from their usual grunge style and into more Indie Pop, while the music retains a sad feel to match the lyrics of the song.

This is the fourth single preceding the band’s sophomore EP ‘Endless Nothing’, which hits on a more melodic sound showing progress in Born Lost’s song writing creating a catchy, cohesive project!

BIO

Sometimes things happen for a reason. Other times it’s destiny. Whatever it was, when Lou Cuello put together Born Lost in November of 2020, after nearly a 5 year hiatus from music, it became obvious that something very special was happening. The goal was to form a no nonsense rock band with teeth. Something totally original that also paid homage to those who paved the way. In a Philadelphia rock scene which was littered with “70’s copycats” and “Sabbath wannabes” his goal was to bring something fresh and new to the city of brotherly love.

You could say the foundation of Born Lost was laid in the 80’s; before frontman Lou Cuello could even hold a guitar in his hands. With his Mother - a singer in a punk band emerging out of NYC - making it her mission to ensure Lou knew that regardless of the obstacles life threw at their family, there was always music to ignite their inner fire and keep them driven. After falling on dark times, Lou's Mother made it her wish that her son turned back to music to change his life around. Erupting from the flames of heartache and pain, came the birth of Born Lost. With songs telling tales of marginalization, his complete lack of control and not knowing how to get out - the songs are also an empowering symbol  of hope, encouraging listeners that if Lou Cuello could escape hell, so could they.

From their humble beginnings, the band are now proving to be a sound people simply cannot miss out on. They have already achieved over 40 user-created Spotify playlist placements and now have released their new EP "All In" through the label Revolver Records. With a year ahead packed with shows & a tour being shaped up for next Spring, join the band on their journey to the top - prepare for take off...it's gonna be one hell of a ride.
