BOBBY LIES certainly isn't afraid to speak his mind. The young punk rock singer and songwriter has his roots way deep in the punk/hardcore scene in which he grew up touring Europe with his band, but this was only the start of a wild ride.
After the band broke up he decided he wasn't done just yet and took part in TV megahit “The Voice of Germany“, making it all the way to the finals, as a star was born. The pop industry wasn’t his place to be, however, it was the moment for him to start working on his solo career and a find a new home in the alternative scene.
Currently living and writing in his spiritual zip code of Los Angeles with old friends from the punk/hardcore-days, his songs are ever inspired by a true love for music and a passionate urge to connect with people through his personal stories.
Heavy punk rock guitars, bouncing beats and anthemic sing alongs are therefore the perfect canvas for BOBBY’s diverse personality and his constantly expanding spectrum of emotions and interests. This is BOBBY LIES' world; we're all just living in it.
With his LOVE GANG he is trying to create a community and place for everyone, where they can feel loved and experience true emotional freedom.
