Watch: "Bent"

Seattle based grunge outfit Black Ends has a strong local presence in the Pacific North West and opened for acts such as Shannon & the Clams, Mamalarky, Margaritas Podridas, The Jins, Momma, Skating Polly, Otoboke Beaver, Blvck Hippie, and Rosie Tucker. They have upcoming shows this summer/fall with Bikini Kill, SASAMI, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Lambrini Girls, and Sour Widows. They also had a successful UK/EU run in Spring 2023. The band is announcing the release of their debut album coming out October 11th on Youth Riot Records and are looking for a support tour around its release. They were featured in Alt Press' Bands to Watch in 2024 list and recorded an awesome KEXP session last year. The band is very proud about being Black and queer fronted. BLACK ENDS IS GUNK POP

Psychotic Spew is the debut album by the trio, Black Ends. An album long awaited by many, it is a dark and brooding achievement that breaks and creates you at every corner. From the highest highs of ‘Bent’ to the lowest lows of ‘Bye-Bye!’, there is a song for everyone here. Black Ends does not hold back yet a single feeling as the songwriting is sprinkled with as much catchy and clever humor as it is a mesmerizing and perfect sadness. The album is strewn with astounding instrumentation throughout with stand-out string performances by legendary composer and cellist, Lori Goldston. This is not an album to ignore - in fact, it is an album everyone should try at least once - just to feel like you’ve lived a little.
