Bite Me Bambi Releases New Song And Accompanying Video

“Do The Damned” on October 11

November Tour With Barstool Preachers

New EP Eat This Out In Early 2025

Southern California-based Bite Me Bambi delivers rebellious vintage girl-group vocals, punk beats, poppy hooks, and punch-in-the-gut lyrics on their new song "Do the Damned" out on October 11. The song is from their upcoming EP Eat This out in early 2025. Stream "Do the Damned" here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/bitemebambi/do-the-damned.

About the video, frontwoman Tahlena Chikami shares, "Do The Damned is a song about deciding not to be a people pleaser anymore. We wanted the video to reflect that same attitude. Drawing inspiration from the viral Wednesday Addams dance, our choreographer, Kimmay Evans, brought to life a vision full of IDGAF energy. Executed by director Chris Graue and featuring Colby Rodgers of Strawberry Fuzz." Watch it here: https://youtu.be/fOo5yBB5npo?si=j09VyWo8UMR66Jx7

In addition to Tahlena, Bite Me Bambi is comprised of core members Mike Berault (keys), Ryan Brown (Bass), Edgar Guadiana (sax), and Dan Evans (drums).

"Do the Damned" displays sultry yet powerful vocals while boasting a bright rockabilly-guitar groove, and boisterous horns that set the mood and pull you headfirst into the track's core. Tahlena explains, "Whether in this industry or life, everybody has an opinion on you. The song is about getting rid of the people in your life who don't support you. Let's not waste our time worrying about those kinds of people." Mike adds, "We are excited to share new music. 'Do The Damned' encapsulates where Bite Me Bambi is at the moment. Having fun and playing our music."

Throughout 2024, they recorded unabashed and undeniable anthems that would become their upcoming EP, Eat This, produced by GRAMMY® Award-winner Cameron Webb (Sum 41, Pennywise). What's especially striking about their new batch of songs is the richness in diversity. The EP showcases the band's versatility within the punk umbrella. Each track brings its own flair, with subtle tweaks and shifts that keep the listening experience fresh from start to finish.  Tahlena shares, "For the first time, I feel like we aren't editing ourselves. We're making the music we want to make and sharing the message we want to share."

The limited-edition vinyl pre-order for Eat This is available now and it’s shipping in November of 2024. Only 500 total and available in pink marble and hot pink with black splatter. If you want to be one of the first to hear the new music, pre-order it here:  https://bitemebambi.com/products/eat-this-first-pressing

Bite Me Bambi initially came to life back in 2019. Their 2020 debut Hurry Up And Wait EP boasted a string of fan favorites such as "Strippers on a Sunday," "Crazy," and "Hot Lava," which reeled in over 365K Spotify streams and 115K YouTube views on its music video. Marking his last collaboration, late reggae legend Lee "Scratch" Perry notably remixed "Crazy," while the band returned the favor by covering his "Police & Thieves." They pressed both songs on a 7-inch with artwork by Shepard Fairey. Not to mention, Lynval Golding of The Specials welcomed them on stage to perform "Gangsters."
